There was lots of great music on both vinyl and tape, presentations, talks and a fantastic atmosphere. To be repeated as soon as possible.
HiFi PiG visited the room of SOYATON / AUDIOFORM / J.SIKORA during the 2022 AudioVideoShow in Warsaw and said:
“Soyaton premiered the brand new Benchmark series power cable and new versions of speaker cables as well as the Benchmark mk2 RCA interconnect.
Audioform from Poland showed off new speakers from their Adventure series.
The front end of this system was fronted by the wonderful Sikora turntable and 12” tonearm.
This was an excellent sounding system with sounds coming from all around the room from two relatively modest standmounters, though I have no idea what the music playing was. I actually did look around to find the sub, but there wasn’t one!
The art in the room was by Małgorzata Karp-Soja which added to the warm and inviting ambiance.

SOYATON cables were succesfully present in two fantastic systems presented during the Warsaw AdioVideoShow 2022, partnering such fantastic brands as J.Sikora, SoundSpace , Linnenberg , Aidas , Franc Audio, Audioform, Pilium, Allnic, Unicorn and Abyssound. What a team!
A set of SOYATON cables (RCA Interconnects and Speaker Cables) were reviewed by Marek Dyba of HiFi Knights. Marek found them to be THE BEST cables for a tube-based system he ever dealt with (regardless the price)!
No wonder that he decided to keep them as a part of his Reference System.

During the AudioVideoShow 2022 in Warsaw new versions of two cables from the Benchmark series will be shown for the first time – the speaker cable and the RCA interconnect (both marked Benchmark mk2). Both cables use new plug bodies, designed and manufactured by SOYATON, which improve isolation from interference in the immediate vicinity of operating devices. At the same time, the aesthetics and durability of the finish were also improved. The prices are the the following: Benchmark mk2 Speaker Cable 240 cm: 4.100 EUR, Benchmark mk2 RCA Interconnect 100 cm: 2.500 EUR.
At the AudioVideoShow 2022, SOYATON will present for the first time an absolute novelty in its offer – the Benchmark mk2 Power Cable. The cable is made – just like all other cables manufactured by SOYATON – of wires made of OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) copper, made in Japan, covered with a layer of 24K gold. For the construction of the cable, a strand of cables of various diameters was used and a double insulation (air and silicone) was used. The cable is terminated with plugs with contacts made of silver-plated copper. The price for a 180 cm Power Cable is EUR 2,500.

As the author (Wojtek Pacuła) wrote, “(…) The best products must be expensive because they use costly materials, there are research and development costs, and production and sales costs. Sometimes, however, as in the case of Julek Soja’s cables, there is something else that has to be added to this equation, something that cannot be quantified, and which is commonly perceived as talent, intuition, the sixth sense, or whatever you want to call it. The Benchmark interconnect really sounds better than its price would suggest. (…) It’s not as resolving and selective as the most expensive cables I have (and know), that’s clear. On the other hand, it does not fall behind in this respect as much as other cables. As a result, we get a true high-end product at extremely attractive price, which can be used in the most expensive audio systems. So the cable receives our RED Fingerprint award – bravo! ■“
